Easter Sunday is April 8, 2012.  All events highlighted will take place  Easter weekend unless otherwise noted.

Come experience Easter in true Texas style! Easter egg hunt for all ages begins at noon sharp, and afterwards there will be an Easter bunny, face painting, a balloon animal maker and more.

Denton “Chopper Drop!”
Saturday, 11 am – 1 pm
Join in the fun with huge crowds gathered to collect thousands of eggs dropped from a helicopter! The Easter Egg Drop also features inflatable rides, music, slides, hot dogs and drinks. High Rock Community Church of Denton hosts this event at NO COST to the public.

City of Denton Easter Eggstravaganza
Saturday, 9:30 a.m.
The events will kick off in the Civic Center with a bounce house and crafts. Then at 10 o’clock, participants will be entertained by a free magic show. During the event, we will sell low-priced concessions. Following the magic show, participants will be led from inside the Civic Center to Quakertown Park for a free egg hunt. The park will be divided by age groups, and signs will guide participants to the designated areas. Prior to the egg hunt, the designated areas will be closed for set-up.

Sunday, April 1, 2012, 1:30 – 4:30 pm
Join the City of Southlake as they celebrate Easter in the Park! This FREE event includes: photos with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, live entertainment, egg hunts, crafts, games, balloon artists and cookie decorating!

Eggcelent Family Adventure in Allen
Saturday, March 31, 9 am – Noon
Bring your Easter basket and come stroll through Civic Plaza. Kids will visit tables hosted by civic organizations and local businesses where they will be awarded eggs, candy and other goodies. The event would not be complete of course without a visit from the Easter Bunny. There are lots more to enjoy too with great activities like games, crafts, face painters and a bounce house.
